What is the Neptunian Cube M Pro 120 Marine Aquarium Set?

The M Pro 120 Marine Aquarium Set is a premium reef tank kit designed and manufactured by industry experts Neptunian Cube. This kit comes complete with everything you’ll need to create the foundations of your first reef tank, including a super-clear, 480L aquarium made from opti-white glass, a durable, water-resistant cabinet, and a built-in, configurable sump.

The M Pro 120 Marine Aquarium Set is available in pearl white and black, with a matte finish to the cabinet’s walls and door. The internal pipework is grey and red, matching the red and black aesthetics of the built-in sump. Both the sump and pipework are incredibly discrete and fully contained within the aquarium’s cabinet. This contributes to a very sleek overall design.

Key Features:

  • 480L display tank made from super-clear opti-white glass
  • Available in 2 colours
  • Sturdy, water-resistant cabinet with an internal powder-coated metal frame
  • Ultra-thin weir box with CNC-cut dual multi-direction returns
  • Fully adjustable, multi-chamber sump with dedicated skimmer, reactor, and refugium chambers
  • Sump comes with pre-filter socks, dosing tube holders, testing probe holders, and top-up chamber
  • Electronic dry box ensures plugs and controllers are kept safe from water damage

How does the Neptunian Cube M Pro 120’s filtration system work?

This Neptunian Cube M Pro 120 comes with a built-in sump and weir that, when partnered with a pump (sold separately), forms its efficient filtration system. This filtration system works by drawing water over the fine-combed weir, down the overflow pipe, and through the filter socks, which strain out any debris and impurities.

It’s then drawn through the sump’s remaining compartments before being pumped through a return system and back into the aquarium via the multi-directional water outlets. You can increase this system’s filtration capacity by adding mechanical and biological media to the empty compartments in the built-in sump
